Denmark is for you,
who treasures a quiet, balanced life

"Wait, what! Six weeks of paid holiday every year?" This is a common reaction for foreign workers when they first hear about the incredible benefits of living and working in Denmark. But that's just the beginning. Imagine a place where healthcare is free, and where work-life balance isn't just an abstract ideal, but a legal right.* In Denmark, life comes first. A standard workweek is 37 hours, and a climbing number of companies are introducing a four-day or 30-hour workweek to give employees more opportunities to do life.

Where will you live your best life? Exploring one of Denmark's 1.580 cities, jogging through a peaceful forest, or relaxing on a sandy beach? You decide! Denmark is small, so everything is within reach. The country is surrounded by the sea—it only takes four hours to drive from the west coast to the east coast. With great public transport and bike paths everywhere, getting around is a breeze—and nature is never much more than a pedal stroke away. Who knows, you might start biking everywhere too, just like the Danes!

Ready to embrace an active lifestyle with time to relax, a bit of fresh air and easy access to both city and nature? Don't just take my word for it! Hear it from expats living in Denmark:

The general consensus in Denmark is that work and free time are two sides of the same coin. Just like athletes need rest to perform at their best, employees need to unwind, enjoy life and take care of day-to-day practicalities. The result? Happier employees and more innovative companies. Curious about the cutting-edge industries you can pour your motivation into?
